YOUR testimony is one of the most powerful stories you can you ever tell.
YOUR testimony is 100% personal. It’s about your relationship with God. It’s how you have come to know Him. The journey you have taken with Him.
Yet, YOUR testimony is not your own. It’s meant to be shared.
If you look at John the Baptist, he is referred to as being a lamp that gives light to other people (John 5:35). He was baptizing and testifying to the truth so that others may come to know God (5:33). He impacted so many people with his testimony.
While we might not live up to what John the Baptist has achieved, we can sure try to follow in his footsteps.
Think about it!
YOUR testimony has the chance to impact the life of someone else or maybe even multiple people. Each person is special to God. Just look at the parable of the lost sheep! Don’t deny ANYONE the chance to hear the truth.
YOUR testimony might not be exciting. It might be that you have been a Christian your whole life. Or maybe you’ve had to deal with a lot of struggles in life. Either way YOUR testimony has the ability to change lives.
It all depends on whether YOU choose to share it with the world because only YOU can do that. Will you let God use YOU and speak through YOU?
Comments: Let me know if you want to share your testimony on my blog!
Check out Ephesians 6:10-18!
As Christians, we are constantly in a battle. Good and evil are always at war over our souls. Thus, we are called to be warriors for God! Everyday we struggle against an inner battle as we deal with whatever life brings our way. We can choose to surrender everything to God or turn and walk the other way.
By choosing to fight for God, we need to be prepared for this battle. Suit up with the belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness. In other words, it’s essential to live by the truth and for the truth. The goal is to live an upright life and to leave sin wounded. Next, your feet need to be ready to fight this battle. How can we win if we aren’t prepared? How can we destroy evil if we aren’t ready and expecting the next attack? Furthermore, the shield of faith will protect us when evil strikes. It will protect our faith, allowing us to grow stronger in our convictions as the battle rages on! The helmet of salvation is equally important. We need to give our lives to Christ! We need to believe that Christ died for us! Otherwise, the protection our helmet provides is weak and susceptible to blows from the evil one. In Christ we are strong! God’s word is our weapon, our sword. Use His word to win this war! It’s proof of His great, redeeming love.
When we put on the full armor of God, we are ready to fight! We must fight! So at the end of the day, we can stand. So that our convictions are unshaken. So that Christ’s resurrection was not in vain because through Jesus victory can be achieved!
